You might say, what in the heck is she talking about here? Well, the best way I can explain this is to say that I am fairly active in GLBT communities. I do what I can. My biggest issues right now are:
Gender Identity
and
Marriage/Unions
I host a website dedicated to GL wedding/union planning. I'm a licensed minister, and have done ceremonies. And I'm active as a petitioner. I'm one of those who writes letters, and goes to the rallies and workshops.
I've also discovered a wonderful and successfully transitioned woman- Debbie Davis. She began my awakening to the idea of non-biological gender identity. I'm hoping that we can bring her down from Minnesota to talk here in Indiana.
I'm especially excited by the 2004 MBLGTCC- the Midwestern Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgendered Collegiate Conference, now in it's 10th year, I think. It's going to be in Iowa this next spring, and I am hoping to lead a workshop. There will be a large group of us going, and it's always so darn much fun.
